Project Overview
This building located at 126 East Grant Street originally served as one of the first breweries in Lancaster City. We are very thankful that the leadership of AYZ LLP trusted Heck Construction with the design build conversion into Class A professional offices while maintaining as much of the building's history as possible. Original brick walls and heavy timber wood framing were cleaned and left exposed and new finishes were beautifully incorporated. Our team led the design and interior design of the project with the help of Mulá Architects and a new dawn interior design. The project also included a custom open steel stair with wood treads and cable railings, all new HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems, custom reclaimed wood accent walls and built-in shelving and artwork salvaged from the restoration.
